Tourism Linkages Network

The Tourism Linkages Network is a division of the Tourism Enhancement Fund, an agency of the Ministry of Tourism, Jamaica.

The Linkages programme was created to support the development and strengthening of sustainable linkages between agriculture, manufacturing, other productive sectors and tourism.

Its mission is therefore, to position the tourism sector to increase its consumption of goods and services that can be competitively sourced in Jamaica.

The Ministry of Tourism has expanded the Linkages Programme through greater emphasis on experiential tourism by driving the passion points of today’s tourists, specifically through the following tourism networks, Gastronomy, Health and Wellness, Knowledge, Shopping and Sport and Entertainment. Two Technical Working Groups focused on Agriculture and Manufacturing also create and support necessary linkages which ultimately contribute to economic growth.

Through the ongoing activities of the five Networks and two Technical Working Groups, tourism stakeholders are being engaged to create new products and enhance existing ones, all with a view to generating greater economic opportunities for citizens, while diversifying the tourist experience.
