El Albergue Ollantaytambo
Ollantaytambo

El Albergue Ollantaytambo is a sustainable family hotel and restaurant located at the Ollantaytambo Train Station, the last stop before Machu Picchu. We pride ourselves in offering quality food lodging in a unique location in the beautiful farmland of Ollantaytambo and work very hard to be a socially and environmentally responsible venture. At El Albergue travelers enjoy beautiful gardens, comfortable rooms and delicious food prepared using the freshest produce from our on-site organic farm. Our farm is also the home to a our coffee roastery, a craft distillery and alternative elementary school. These complimentary projects are not accidental but rather the result of our involvement in the local community after more than 40 years in the Sacred Valley of the Incas spanning three generations.

El Albergue Farm

Visitors to El Albergue can enjoy a traditional "Pachamanca" farm lunch as well as a tasting of freshly roasted coffee and spirits from our Craft Destillery. The farm has become the soul of our business and has really inspired our more recent steps in becoming a sustainable and regenerative company.

2020 with all of its challenges has also provided a unique opportunity for us. As tourism stands still we continue to move and work and have pursued a plan to expand our contributions to strengthen our natural environment. We have adopted a mountainside across the river from us and will be planting 50,000 native trees on this land over the course of the coming year.

Please accept our invitation to join us and be a part of this wonderful world in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
